F2K contains two different foundation design tools; The program contains a conventional square and rectangular “PAD Footing” design program and a finite element based “Continuous Footing” or “beam on an elastic foundation” program, (Finite Element Beam on a Non-Linear Elastic Foundation).
The PAD Footing portion of the program allows for eccentric loads, uplift, moments and lateral loads.
The Continuous Footing portion provides a model environment for building a model of the footing including various wall and column loadings and an interactive results page.
