Spyder Software began in 1998 producing simple design software tools. These were primarily used by local design engineers in the Chico, CA area. Our goal was and is to produce easy to use software to simplify the design process for Engineers, Architects, Building Designers and Contractors.

In 2000 we introduced Foot2000 or “F2K” our first commercial product. F2K is a reinforced concrete foundation design software for simple single-column footings and multi column grade beams. F2K is still in use today receiving code and performance upgrades over the years.

It has been too long but in 2018 we introduced WoodBook v1. WB is a comprehensive wood element design software. In 2019 we updated WB to v2 adding updated features.
